Templeton Summer Pool
An inviting atmosphere for whānau, friends, and individuals seeking respite from the summer heat.
Templeton Summer Pool is open for members and their guests from Saturday 15 November 2025 until Sunday 29 March 2026 (inclusive).
The pool includes
- Four-lane, 25-metre pool, with a depth of 0.8m to 1.3m
- Toddlers pool with shade sail
- Picnic tables

Templeton Summer Pool is not wheelchair accessible.

Membership
Get summer-long key access to the pool for you and your whānau with a summer pool membership.
Simply sign up for your membership online and attend a member induction session to collect your key.

- Log in to your account.
- Click ‘Buy entry passes.’
- Click on ‘Summer Pool Seasonal Access’, choose your preferred membership and click ‘Add to cart’.
- Click on ‘Go to the shopping cart’.
- Review and click ‘Go to payment’.
- Follow the steps to make payment.
- You will receive a confirmation email with information about attending a member induction at the pool and collecting your access key.
Create a new online account
- Visit the online account log in page.
- Click 'Join now'.
- Choose Jellie Park as your facility and click ‘Next’.
- Click ‘Create a guest account’ and click ‘Next’.
- Free trials are not available at summer pools, please click ‘Next’.
- Enter your details.
- Click ‘Go to your client portal’.
- Click on ‘Buy entry passes’
- Click on ‘Summer Pool Seasonal Access’, choose the membership you would like and then click ‘Add to cart’.
- Click on ‘Go to the shopping cart’.
- Review, click on ‘Go to payment’ and follow the steps to make payment.
- You will receive a confirmation email with information about attending a member induction at the pool and collecting your access key.

Member induction sessions
Membership induction sessions are held most days on site. Members will complete a health and safety induction and collect their access key.
Sessions:
- Monday 10 November 2025 – 14 November 2025 at 9.30am and 3.30pm
- Saturday 15 November 2025 - 24 December 2025 Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9.30am
- Outside of these times, inductions are by appointment only.

Keep our pools safe
We want everyone to be able to enjoy the pools and have a safe and enjoyable experience.
It’s important that caregivers take extra care when accompanying a child to the pool.

Supervision of children in the pool
- Children under the age of 16 years old must be supervised by a responsible caregiver over the age of 18 who is also a key holder.
- Children under five years old must be within arm’s reach and under constant supervision by a responsible caregiver aged 16 years or older in the pool at all times.
- Children between the ages of five and ten (inclusive) must be actively supervised by a responsible caregiver aged 16 years or older, who is to be within the pool area at all times and able to provide immediate assistance.
Maximum adult to child ratiosHow many children can you bring to our pools?
- One adult to two children under 5 years old
- One adult to one child under 5 and two 5-10 year olds
- One adult to four 5-10 year olds
