Take your child's birthday to the next level by booking one of our birthday party packages.
Bring your own party food, drinks, decorations and cake or ask about catering options. Every birthday child will also receive a voucher for their next return visit.

Have a water baby who loves to swim? A birthday party at the pool is a great place for them to celebrate doing what they love!

- Entry to the pools for up to 10 swimmers.
- 90 minutes in the birthday party room and kitchen (where available*) after swimming.
- Screen available in the birthday party room for images and/or messaging (where available*).

- Free pool entry voucher for the birthday child to use for another visit.
Available at Matatiki, Pioneer, Taiora QEII and Te Pou Toetoe Linwood Pool.

If you are having your birthday party at Taiora QEII catering can be organised with the onsite café.
*Taiora QEII, Te Pou Toetoe Linwood Pool, Matatiki Hornby Centre and Pioneer have birthday party rooms. Te Pou Toetoe Linwood Pool and Pioneer have kitchens. TV screens are available at Pioneer, Matatiki, Taiora QEII and Te Pou Toetoe Linwood Pool. Hooks for decorations are available at Taiora QEII.
- All packages are for up to 10 swimmers/sliders. Spectators are free.
- Please ensure there is sufficient adult supervision to manage children’s safety.
- Payment is due on arrival at the facility. Once confirmed please note if you cancel within two weeks, or do not attend your booking, you will be charged for the full hire cost.
- All facilities need to be left clean and tidy after you have finished. Please use the cleaning products provided.
- You are welcome to bring food and drinks. Alcoholic beverages must not be taken into any Recreation and Sport Centre. Glassware is not permitted for safety reasons.
- Where utensils are unavailable, you will need to bring your own plates and cutlery (no ceramic or glassware please). We encourage reusable service ware.

Play n' Tumble
Play n' Tumble birthday parties are a great way to celebrate your little ones birthday in a fun and active space.
Package includes:
- 60 minutes on a selection of Tumbletimes mats, soft play and equipment for up to 20 children.
- 60 minutes in the birthday party room after playtime (in the Lounge).
- Free Tumbletimes voucher for the birthday child to use for another visit.
Available at Cowles Stadium and Pioneer.

*Pioneer and Cowles Stadium have a birthday party room and kitchen.
- The maximum number of children for these sessions is 20. Caregivers are free.
