How to sign up for a Gym & Pool membership
To get started, click ‘here'.
Follow the below steps once clicking the link above:
- Click join now.
- Choose your preferred centre and click next.
- Select the 'Promotion - 10 days for $10' option making sure it is shaded in blue and click 'Next'.
- Select the ‘Gym and Pool Membership Weekly’ option making sure it is shaded in blue and click ‘Next’.
- Choose what day you would like to start your contract and click 'Next'.
- Complete your personal details and click 'Next'.
- Agree to our promotional eligibility and membership terms and conditions.
- Click ‘Ok’ and ‘Next’
- Enter your bank account details to pay for your 'Gym & Pool' membership. Please do not use a debit card number.
- Read and accept all the agreements and click ‘Next’.
- You can then click 'Go to your client portal' to view your account.
- You are now all set up! Pop into one of our facilities to collect your membership card and have your photo taken.
To book your free induction session, please talk to our Customer Experience team in centre.

Promotion Eligibility
By signing up for this promotion (10 days for $10), you agree that:
- The offer is valid from 8am, Monday 3 February to 11.59pm, Monday 31 March 2025.
- Promotion applies to ‘Gym & Pool’ members paying by Weekly Direct Debit only.
- After your first 10 days for $10, your membership will commence automatically with ongoing payments of $19.95 weekly.
- The minimum term for this promotional direct debit membership is 8 weeks from the start date of your 10 days for $10 promotion.
- You have not been a member of Christchurch City Council Recreation and Sport centres in 2025.
- You are at least 16 years old.
- This promotion is not available in conjunction with any other discounts or offers.
- Freezes cannot be applied in the first 10 days.
- When signing up to a ‘Gym & Pool’ weekly membership via direct debit, your weekly direct debit payments will begin at the end of the promotional 10 days.
- Standard Membership Terms and conditions apply from the commencement of this membership.
