With the upcoming opening of Christchurch’s newest recreation and sports facility, Parakiore, we’re inviting you to a community Career Information Session to learn about the exciting employment opportunities available with Christchurch City Council’s Recreation, Sports and Events unit.

What can you expect

• Explore our roles: Discover a variety of opportunities, including lifeguards, fitness instructors, and customer experience representatives.
• Meet the team: Chat with some of our friendly staff across different roles who will share insights into their jobs and what a typical ‘day in my working life’ looks like.
• Learn about Parakiore: Get a glimpse into the exciting features of our newest, state-of-the-art facility and learn how it fits within our network of Recreation and Sport Centres across Christchurch.
