Use of photography and video
By submitting a video entry, you confirm that all students featured in the video have parental or guardian consent for their participation. Additionally, you acknowledge that the video may be used across various marketing channels.
At the event for the winning school to be the first to ride the hydroslides, a photographer and videographer will be present to capture the experience for promotional purposes. All participating students must have parental or guardian permission to be photographed or filmed.
It is the responsibility of the school to obtain written photo/video consent from parents or guardians prior to the event. This written consent must be provided to Christchurch City Council before the session.
If any students do not have consent to be photographed or filmed, these students can still attend the event, however it is the school’s responsibility to clearly identify them - for example, by using a coloured wristband or another visible method - so that event staff can ensure those students are not included in any photography or videography.
