Cowles StadiumAccessible carparks
Cowles Stadium has two accessible car parks located at the front entrance (40 metres).
Wheelchair accessEntry to Cowles Stadium is a low gradient ramp. Other doorways are level entry.
There is limited wheelchair seating at the end of the bleachers and this is based on event organiser requirements.
Accessible toiletsCowles Stadium has two accessible toilets. The accessible toilet in the womens' toilets has a baby change table.
Accessible changing roomsCowles Stadium has two accessible changing rooms. Both include a shower, bench and toilet.

Hearing loopCowles Stadium does not have hearing loop.

There is a carpark directly outside Cowles Stadium. Access is off Pages Road.Bus

Sports halls
Access to the sports halls is through double doors. Please ask staff to help you if you need assistance.Gym

You are welcome to leave your mobility equipment on poolside as long as it is not blocking a walkway or emergency exit. Lifeguards can help you to find a suitable location if needed and can bring your equipment to you when you are ready to leave the pool.

You can travel to Graham Condon on bus number 28 or 107. Bus numbers 28 and 107 stop on Main North Road outside Northlands Mall; from the bus stops it is a 440 metre or 6 minute walk through the mall to Graham Condon.Bike

Poolside
- Wet wheelchairs are stored in the first aid room. Please as a staff member if you would like to use one.
- Pool access is through an entrance gate. Please ask staff to help you if you need assistance.
- There is a mobile hoist with a chair that you can use for all of the pools. This is available through self-transfer or carer assistance.
- The outdoor pool and teach pool have ramp access.
- The recreation pool, sports pool and toddlers pool have step access. The recreation pool has a handrail on the left side.
- The steam room and sauna are accessible, however assistance may be needed with the doors.

You can find the accessible toilet to the left of the main entrance, this has an automatic door with right handrail.Poolside

- Six large changing cubicles are available with a shower and bench seats.
- A large changing room is available with a manual adjustable bed, shower with left handrail and toilet with left handrail. No hoist is available in this changing room.
- A smaller changing room is available. The shower has a left handrail and the toilet has a left handrail.

- Bus number 29 stops on Memorial Avenue and it is a 530 metre or 7 minute walk from the bus stop to Jellie Park.
- The Orbiter bus stops on Greers Road near Burnside High School and it is a 650 metre or 9 minute walk from the bus stop to Jellie Park

Jellie Park has 70 bike stands near the main entrance.Pool temperatures- Outdoor pool - temperatures range from 25 to 27 degrees
- Sport pool - temperatures range from 26 to 27.5 degrees
- Recreation pool - temperatures range from 26.5 to 28 degrees
- Teach pool - temperatures range from 30 to 32 degrees

Accessible carparksThere are seven accessible carparks available at Pioneer. Five are located at the front entrance (80 metres) and two are located at the back entrance (30 metres).
Wheelchair accessBoth the front and back entry to Pioneer is via a flat entrance with automatic doors. There is a low internal ramp into the stadium.
Poolside
- Pool access is through an entrance gate. Please ask staff to help you if you need assistance.
- Wet wheelchairs are available outside the change village.
- Please bring your own slings for the hoist, they are not available to hire.
- The leisure pool has a ramp entrance.
- The lane pool has a mobile step access with a rail. Please ask a lifeguard to put the steps in the pool.
- The teach pool has built in step access with a right handrail.
- The spa pool has a hoist and steps. The hoist is available through self-transfer or carer assistance.
- The steam room and sauna are accessible, however assistance may be needed with the doors.
Gym
Access to the gym is through an entrance gate. Please ask staff to help you if you need assistance.Group fitness

Weekends are usually busy all day however this does change depending on the season.

- The sauna is accessible, however assistance may be needed with the doors.

- Bus number 60 stops on Travis Road outside the Shirley Boys/Avonhead Girls High Schools, and is a 420 metre or 6 minute walk to Taiora QEII.
- Bus number 80 stops on Bower Avenue near Dick Taylor Drive, and is a 310 metre or 4 minute walk to Taiora QEII.
Bike

One accessible toilet is located at the end of the library. This space includes a toilet, rail and sink.

One accessible toilet is located next to the multipurpose room that includes a toilet, rail and sink.
